Dr (Prof ) Chandra Shekhar Yadav is a well-known Joint Replacement Surgeon currently associated with Primus Super Speciality Hospital, Chanakyapuri. He has 39 years of experience in Orthopaedic surgery and has worked as an expert in different cities in India. He was previously associated with AIIMS, Delhi and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi.

Prof. C. S. Yadav’s excellence in Joint Replacement surgery has been nationally recognized and featured in the Limca Book of Records (2015) for his outstanding work at the annual health camp held at the Leh–Ladakh District Hospital, where he successfully performed Total Knee and Total Hip Replacement surgeries.

Additionally, by July 2017, a total of 139 joint replacement surgeries were carried out under his leadership in the Leh and Kargil regions, including 126 knee replacements and 13 hip replacements, significantly improving mobility and quality of life for patients in these remote areas.

He has also participated in research work and various workshops under the Surgery department and published many papers.

Prof. Yadav has been honoured with the prestigious Dr B C Roy National Award by the President of India at the President’s House on 28th March 2017 for the year 2015.

He has been honoured with the prestigious Sri Loknath Saraf Memorial Award, by the Rajasthan Ratankar a Cultural and Social Organization on 19th July 2015 at FICCI Auditorium New Delhi by three Union Ministers of Union Gov. of India.

He also has been honoured with the Yash Bhar Award, the Highest Civilian award of the Government of Uttar Pradesh on 9th Feb, 2015 at Lucknow by the Chief Minister of UP.
