Dr Shalini Thakur is an experienced Surgical Oncologist and Oral Onco Surgeon in Bangalore with 12 years of clinical experience in head and neck surgical oncology, oral cancer surgery, and interdisciplinary rehabilitation of head and neck cancer patients.

She currently serves as Consultant and Programme Director of Oral Onco Surgery and Rehabilitation at HCG Cancer Centre.

Dr Thakur performs over 250 surgeries annually and has published over 20 research papers in prominent national and international journals. She is the recipient of the Best Paper Award at the National Conference on Oral Medicine and Radiology, Chennai, 2009.

She is deeply involved in post-treatment rehabilitation of head and neck cancer patients and is known for her surgical precision, holistic approach to patient care, and active engagement in cancer research.
