Dr Prabhu N Nesargikar is an experienced Surgical Oncologist in Bangalore with 24 years of clinical experience in gastrointestinal oncology, minimally invasive cancer surgery, bariatric surgery, and peritoneal cancer management.

He currently practises as a Consultant at Group of HCG Cancer Centre.

Dr PN Nesargikar is a UK Board Certified Surgeon holding a CCT from the General Medical Council and has completed advanced fellowship training in gastric cancer at SNUH, South Korea.

He has been awarded the UK National Surgical Interviews Top Position in 2010, ESOT Young Investigator Award, Belgium in 2016, and Conference Awards at the Korea Gastric Cancer Congress and Japanese Gastric Cancer Congress in 2019.

Dr Prabhu N Nesargikar provides expert surgical management of all major gastrointestinal malignancies including oesophageal cancer, stomach cancer, small intestine cancer, colorectal cancer, and peritoneal malignancies, with expertise in organ-preserving and cytoreductive surgical approaches.

Minimally Invasive and Peritoneal Cancer Treatment

He performs advanced minimally invasive cancer surgeries including laparoscopic and robotic procedures, HIPEC, PIPAC, multiorgan cytoreductive surgery, and intraperitoneal chemotherapy for peritoneal malignancies.

Bariatric Surgery and Therapeutic Endoscopy

He also provides comprehensive bariatric surgical care including laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass surgery, along with therapeutic endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy, upper GI endoscopy, EMR and ESD for small tumours, PEG tube insertions, intragastric balloon placement, and endoscopic stenting procedures.
