Dr. Krishan Prasad

Dr Krishan Prasad is a senior Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 40 years of clinical experience. He is currently associated as a Consultant at HOSMAT Hospital, Ashok Nagar.

Previously, he worked at Welcare Hospital, Prime Medical Centre, KIMS Hospital, Manipal Hospital, Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, Bangalore and Church of South India Hospital.

Dr Prasad completed his MBBS from University of Calcutta in 1986. He went on to pursue:

• Diploma in Orthopaedics from Government Medical College in 1988

• MCh in Orthopaedics at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, UK in 2003

Dr Krishan is an active member of the Karnataka Medical Council (KMC).

His professional excellence has been recognised with the Distinguished National Board Teacher Award.

He is also a National Board Examiner on several occasions, contributing actively to postgraduate medical education in orthopaedics.

In the field of academics and research, he has delivered presentations at National Orthopaedic Conferences on seven occasions and has also presented at SICOT Dubai.
