Dr Jayanti Thumsi is a highly experienced Breast Surgeon and Robotic Surgical Oncologist in Bangalore with 36 years of clinical experience in breast oncology, robotic breast surgery, and oncoplastic reconstruction.

She currently serves as Senior Consultant at HCG Cancer Centre and Lead Surgeon at Apollo Hospitals.

Dr Thumsi has performed over 8,900 breast surgeries and is one of the very few female surgeons in India dedicated entirely to full-time breast surgical oncology.

She is the founding leader of STHREE, a breast cancer survivor and caregiver support group with over 950 members, and has trained over 6.5 lakh women across Karnataka in breast self-examination.

She holds a Limca Book of Records entry for organising the world's largest breast self-examination drive, training 2,332 women in a single day in Bangalore in 2015.

She leads comprehensive psycho-oncology support, public cancer screening campaigns, and community awareness programmes, including innovative tactile screening initiatives utilising visually impaired professionals for early breast cancer detection.
