I came to Dr Althea with a complex skin condition involving multiple systems that my general physician was struggling to manage. Within one consultation she had connected the skin findings with an underlying autoimmune process that had not been considered before. She coordinated investigations with rheumatology and internal medicine and her collaborative approach led to a complete diagnosis. Her training at St John's Medical College and her teaching experience at Kasturba Medical College are clearly reflected in her diagnostic depth. She approaches skin disease as part of the whole person not just a surface problem. For anyone in Bangalore dealing with a complex or poorly managed skin condition she is the dermatologist to see.
