ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಪದೇ ಪದೇ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ತಲೆನೋವಿನ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗೆ ನಾವು ಡಾ. ಪ್ರವೀಣ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆವು. ಅವರು ರೋಗಿಗಳ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯಿಂದ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರು ನೀಡಿದ ಹೊಸ ಮಾದರಿಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯಿಂದ ಅಮ್ಮ ಈಗ ಬಹಳ ಆರಾಮವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಮಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡದೆ, ಜೀವನಶೈಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ರೋಗ ವಾಸಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಇವರ ಶೈಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಯಿತು.

ಬೊಮ್ಮಸಂದ್ರದ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ. ಪ್ರವೀಣ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆವು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಈ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅಪಾರ ಅನುಭವ ಅವರ ಮಾತಿನಲ್ಲೇ ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಬಹಳ ಜಟಿಲವಾದ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ನಮಗೆ ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗುವಂತೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ರೋಗಿಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅವರು ತೋರುವ ಕಾಳಜಿ ನಮಗೆ ಬಹಳ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿತು. ಇವರು ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಬಹಳ ಮೇಧಾವಿ ವೈದ್ಯರು.
